Chronic Disorganization

Frequently Asked Questions > Whole Life Coaching

Who do you coach?

I specialize in coaching people with ADHD and others who struggle with organization, time management, prioritization, and focus.  I work with adults of all walks of life and students as young as age 12.

Where do coaching sessions take place?

Wherever you are!  We meet by phone or Skype, usually.  Clients who need organizational assistance in addition to coaching may choose to have some sessions by phone, some in person.  Some clients opt to meet for coaching in-person, please contact me for details on this.

What is the focus of coaching?

You determine your focus and goals for our work together. The coaching relationship is one of structure and support for you to achieve those goals.  For people with ADHD, topics of coaching often include planning, prioritizing, and time/task management.

I’m not sure if I need organizing or coaching.  How should I proceed?

Contact me, and we can talk over your needs in greater depth.  In general, a client is ready for coaching when they’re really ready and motivated to make change in their lives.  In-person organizing works well for people who don’t know where or how to start, who need more in-person support during the process to keep them on task, and whose systems are not working for them.

How do I assure confidentiality?

I subscribe to a strict code of ethics as presented by NAPO (the National Association of Professional Organizers) and the ICF (International Coach Federation).  When we begin our work, I provide you with a signed statement assuring confidentiality.

How do you charge?

Coaching is typically purchased monthly upfront.  I offer a free sample session to new clients.  The monthly fee for four 45-minute sessions and email check-ins between sessions is $320 ($340 in-person).

What is your training?

I am trained by CTI (Coaches Training Institute), one of the most reputed coaching programs in the country and have taken classes with ADDCA (ADD Coach Academy).  I also have an M.A. from the University of Chicago and a B.A. from Hampshire College in Amherst, Mass.  I continue my education through coach mentorship and ongoing trainings and conferences.
